Education
We plan a monthly educational seminar within the FHU, specifically designed for residents and chief residents from various specialties.
Description and Mission
This initiative will enhance the attractiveness of our departments. The management of chronic diseases requires a holistic approach, including psychosocial dimensions.
To support this ambition, we will develop an educational project for nurses and the Transversal Unit for Patient Therapeutic Education (UTEP), to build an innovative and comprehensive care pathway management program. A YouTube channel will serve as a resource platform. The integration of patient partnership into the FHU governance, from its launch, constitutes a particularly innovative aspect.
Our educational strategy will be mixed, involving both healthcare professionals and patients, via:
- monthly seminars,
- a dedicated YouTube channel,
- a Patient Therapeutic Education (PTE) program,
- and the development of PREOMs (Patient-Reported Experience and Outcome Measures).
One of the major educational objectives is to develop a cross-cutting competency framework for fibrotic diseases, and to propose specific PTE modules according to the affected organ.
We will focus on:
- multidisciplinary coordination,
- structuring the care pathway,
- and strengthening the city-hospital link, for both healthcare professionals and patients.
The UTEP will provide methodological support for:
- action-training for teams around PTE,
- care pathways and partnerships,
- educational engineering for various educational materials,
- and support in establishing patient partnerships.
This approach will ensure comprehensive care, including psychosocial factors, thereby improving the quality of care for patients with fibrosis.
