Highlights from the first INFIBREX & INFIRE Scientific Day – April 10, 2026
On April 10, 2026, the first edition of the INFIBREX & INFIRE Scientific Day was held, a day dedicated to scientific exchange and translational research.
This event brought together more than 100 participants, including researchers, clinicians, early-career investigators, and students, around a central theme: From cellular interactions to inter-organ communication
Throughout the day, speakers and participants explored several major scientific challenges, including:
- Renal inflammation and fibrosis in chronic diseases
- Lung–joint interactions, illustrated by the example of rheumatoid arthritis
- Autologous immune organoids to study the development of pediatric cancers
- The complement system as a key player in intercellular communication
The programme also highlighted several high-quality short talks, illustrating the dynamism, talent, and commitment of the new generation of researchers.
